AIR

AIR is a platform independent environment to launch 'air'-applications. AIR-applications are programs that use HTML/CSS, Ajax, Adobe Flash, and Adobe Flex technologies. These application can be executed on Windows, Mac OS, or GNU/Linux platforms with AIR environment installed.

AIR technology helps in quick development of multimedia software that can run on any OS.
